Former Black Stars goalkeeper Sammy Adjei has been revealed as the proud owner of a public toilet in Labadi in Accra.
Having retired many years ago, the former national darling has invested in the KVIP business as a means of raising funds.
A former colleague of Adjei revealed the news to GhOne Tv in a recent interview.
For many years, Adjei was the number one goalie for Accra Hearts of Oak and the senior national team, The Black Stars. He was later displaced from the position by Richard Kingson, but is undoubtedly one of the most beloved goalies in Ghana’s history.
Many players, post retirement, find it difficult to stay financially stable – but Adjei is reportedly guaranteed a regular source of income from his investment.
If you know anything about Labadi, you’ll know ‘Barthez’ made the right investment.
