Ghana’s captain, Asamoah Gyan, got back to his primary duty of scoring goals as he grabbed a brace in his first outing for his new Turkish club Kayserispor.
The Turkish side beat German side Hanover 96 4-2 in a pre-season friendly, with Gyan netting two of his side’s four goals.
The 31 year old scored from an 83rd minute penalty to equalise for his side, before scoring a few minutes later to make it a 3-2 lead.
Gyan moved to Kayserispor earlier this summer, marking his return to Europe after close to a decade playing in the near and far east.
