The convalescing coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Steve Polack, found some time and energy to visit the training grounds of the team and motivate them as they continue training towards their grudge match against Accra Hearts of Oak.
Polack was one of those injured most in the team’s recent accident whilst returning from a game in Accra, and has been recovering the use of his legs with the aids of crutches.
Polack took some time off his recovery to visit the team’s training ground to observe his squad in training and give them some fiery words of motivation.
According to the club’s official website, Polack turned up “…sporting a white, Goil-branded polo shirt over black training pant, and walking with the aid of crutches…, Coach Polack addressed his players and rest of the technical team. He urged them to look beyond what befell the team a fortnight ago and get ready for a strong comeback.”
Kotoko are set to take on archrivals Accra Hearts of Oak in Kumasi next Sunday, in an outstanding Premier League game which was postponed due to their accident.
