Actor John Dumelo says if he had to choose, he would avoid dating a woman who’s stinking rich because money makes women disrespectful.
The actor recently made an appearance on the program ‘What Men Like’, and the conversation was around whether men like dating ladies who are financially well off.
Dumelo, whom we’ve heard more than a few stories of being attracted to well off ladies, said he does not fancy dating ladies like that. According to him, he would prefer a lady who is simply ok financially but not too well because then they become disrespectful.
“…Fortunately or unfortunately, when women have a lot of money, they tend to be somehow disrespectful …” Dumelo said on the show.
“I just want a woman who is OK but the potential is there to be rich, for us to be rich together. She’s ambitious, she’s a go getter, she’s entrepreneurial. We can get money together.”
The actor added though that if he had to date a woman like that, he would just have to make sure not to depend on her financially.
“I don’t mind going out with a woman who has more money than I do but I would make sure I have my own money as well…I wouldn’t want a case where I depend on the woman financially.. that is when women are bad…”
He added: “I would want to know if she’s comfortable and everything but that’s not really important to me.. What matters is how ambitious she is, how effective and supportive she is.”
