The former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Tony Blair, paid a visit to Ghana’s Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, at his offices over the weekend.
Blair and Bawumia held a meeting in which they shared ideas and the long serving PM expressed confidence in Ghana’s government.
Bawumia posted about the meeting on social media, writing:
Former British Prime Minister H.E. Tony Blair paid a courtesy call on me at the Flagstaff House and passed on some best practices in governance.
“He expressed confidence that the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo government would stay on track in its drive to take Ghana’s economy to greater heights.”
