Spain's Garbine Muguruza Upsets Venus Williams To Win 2017 Wimbledon Crown

Spaniard Garbine Muguruza upset Venus Williams in the 2017 British Open finals to win her second ever career Grand Slam trophy.
Muguruza beat the elder Williams sister 7-5, 6-0 at Wimbledon to take the title home after just an hour and 17 minutes of play.
Two years after losing the finals to now pregnant Serena, Garbine got her revenge on the other sister at the All England Club.
Venus’ quest for an 8th Grand Slam title was sharply halted by the impressive Spaniard, who manged to write her name into the record books with the win.
In Sunday’s men’s singles finals, Swiss maestro Roger Federer would take on Marin Cilic, as he bids to extend his record at the top of the male Grand Slam list.
