‘Dancehall king’ Shatta Wale and his ‘Hosanna’ collaborator Burna Boy have been named as the headline acts for the upcoming first ever Ghana Meets Naija UK.
The event, organised by Empire Entertainment, would be held at London’s O2 and would be an expansion of the annual Ghana Meets Naija battle.
EIB owned Starrfmonline reports that the two have been tapped as the headline acts to represent their nations at the August 25 show. Other supporting acts would be named as the date approaches.
The 2017 Ghana Meets Naija came off in May, with Shatta Wale being crowned the undisputed king on the night. Other stars on that night’s bill included Davido, M.anifest, Tiwa Savage, Kojo Cue, Article Wan, B4 Bonah, Kuame Eugene and Lilwin.
