Former President John Dramani Mahama has called for Ghanaians to offer prayers for the injured in the Asante Kotoko car accident.
Taking to Facebook to respond to the tragic news, the immediate past President of the country called for us to seek divine intervention for the team.
The team bus of the Porcupine Warriors was involved in the accident late Wednesday, on their return back to Kumasi from Accra.
Many players were injured, and rushed to the Holy Family Hospital in Nkawkaw. The coach Steve Pollack and his assistant Steven Ablordey, among others, were later transferred to KATH.
Ghanaians have launched a #prayforkotoko on twitter, and the former President’s post falls in line with that.
“Let’s remember Asante Kotoko S.C in our prayers”. he wrote on Fb.
