Actress Yvonne Okoro Says She's Ready to Star in Kumawood Movies—What Happened?

With the collapse of the English part of Ghana’s movie industry which some people call Gallywood at end, the actors dominant in that industry have literally become unemployed–spending majority of their lives on Instagram.
Actress Yvonne Okoro who for many years has been a star actress in Gallywood has now turned to Kumawood, the Twi and less respected half of the Ghanaian movie industry.
Okoro is reported to have said during a recent interview with B Ice on Agyenkwa FM in Kumasi that she’s now ready to work in Kumawood–provided the money and script are good.
Considering how Yvonne Okoro and her other Ghallywood actors have over the years positioned themselves, as somewhat over the Kumawood stars, it’s interesting that she seems to be warming her career into Kumawood, now that Gallywood is almost dead.
This is a clear case of the stone the builder rejects, becoming the head corner stone.
