John Dumelo Said He Did Not Know The V8 He Bought Was Government Property – Says 'I Will Never Keep A Government Car'

John Dumelo has spoken on the V8 saga extensively for the first time, denying allegations that he was given a government vehicle to use for his ties to the NDC.
According to the actor, he bought the car from an individual and had no idea it was a government vehicle until the BNI came for it from him.
Dumelo appeared on the Cosmopolitan Mix on Joy Fm and said if he knew for a second that the car was a government vehicle, he would have returned it.
“I bought the car from somebody and won’t know whether it is a stolen car or not.” he said.
“I was there and some people came and said it is a stolen car so asked them to take it away. I will never keep a government car because I was not a government official.”
