Zylofon Media has responded to critics that questioned its everyday signing of acts to its outfit without detailing the focus of the deal for Ghanaians to comprehend.
The new media company has signed management deals with about 10 acts within a period of 6 months gifting them houses, cars, and l’argent – leaving many to wonder how they will make a return of the whopping resources they are investing.
Nkonkonsa.com has reported Samuel Atuobi Baah, Head of Communications at Zylofon Media to have said “It is not as if the company has a lot of money to throw away. We want to help the entertainment industry that has suffered for a long time to grow. The entertainment industry to have a record label to sign on great talents”. Once again, Mr. Baah has clearly failed to vividly explain “how” the deals will help the industry apart from leaving the likes of Kumi Guitar to comfortably sleep without efforts to churn out some good music because at least he has his pocket filled by Zylofon Media.

Reacting to publications like Chris-Vincent’s query on what track record Zylonfon Media has that guarantees it won’t be the same of an old story like Lynx and Empire Entertainment, Samuel Baah explained that “We are aware of all the record labels that signed on a lot of artistes and went burst. We have a well-thought out plan and very soon Ghanaians will know that Zylofon Media means business”
“But we are not just signing for signing sake, we mean business and when our outfit is convinced about a particular artiste then we put pen on paper” he added.
Kumi Guitar, Becca, Stonebwoy, Joyce Blessing, Rapper Obibini, Zynell Zuh, Bibi Bright, James Gardiner and Toosweet Annan have all signed management deals with Zylofon Media.
