Actor Kofi Agyiri, most known for appearing in the ‘Efiewura’ series, has died.

Agyiri passed away earlier today, Thursday, June 29, at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.

Koo Fori, a fellow ‘Efiewura’ star, confirmed Agyiri’s death on Okay Fm. He said his colleague had been suffering from kidney disease for a while now.

“It is a sad moment for us as we mourn Kofi Agyiri who was always committed to the Efiewura series.” mynewsgh reports Koo Fori as saying.

“Sometimes when we are financially challenged, he uses his own resources to finance some part of the project.

“I know he is married with kids but will not want to divulge further details. I will make funeral arrangements and others public when the time is due”,
