I’m Not A Rastafarian And I Don’t Smoke Weed; My Locks Are For Music Only — Obrafour Opens Up About His Omnipresent Hairstyle

Obrafour has emphatically stated his aversion to the international herb, saying that he doesn’t smoke, has never smoked it nor taken it in any other form before.

Obrafour’s prominent dreadlocks and his superb music talent has led to questions sometimes being about whether he indulges in the pastime which most musicians are used to.

Appearing on Adom Fm’s ‘Kasahari Level’ with Pope Skinny, Obrafour categorically denied ever partaking in the using of marijuana.

“I don’t smoke wee. I do not smoke and I have never used the marijuana drug in my life. Not for any purpose at all…” he said on the show.

Obrafour also addressed the question of his hair, saying that he only kept it that way for his career and that it had no other significance for him.

“It is the music industry that made me keep the locks.” he said.

“But if the music isn’t with me anymore and God calls me to take it off, I will. I don’t have any religious reason with regards to my hair. I am not a Rastafarian…” he added.

Obrafour, on the show, also made it clear that he expects a call from God when he brings his career to an end for him to enter into ministry.
