The US Embassy in Ghana has continued a recent streak of more stringent migration policies by denying over 40 Ghanaian journalists visas to cover the Black Stars upcoming trip stateside.
According to reports, the embassy fears these journalists would not return to Ghana once they get to the U.S and has therefore decided not to grant them the travelling visas altogether.
The Black Stars are set to take on Mexico and the U.S in two friendly games in Houston and Connecticut respectively.
In recent days, the US embassy has also announced a new policy of tighter restrictions on visa applications, saying former Presidents and MP’s would not be giving protocol treatments if they apply for visas.
