Wow, quite a signing!

German club Eintracht Frankfurt has signed a new forward, Nelson Mandela.

The 18 year old Cameroonian has been offered a professional contract by the side, after having made his name with their youth team set up.

Formerly of Barcelona’s youth team, Mandela moved to Frankfurt where he’s been banging in the goals – he scored 8 in 14 appearances last season.

Full name Nelson Mandela Mbouhom, it doesn’t have to be said but he has huge shoes to fill.

His namesake, Nelson Madiba Mandela, is one of the most revered politicians of all time.
