M.anifest has showered great praise on Ghana’s ‘rap sofor’, describing him as the original ‘God MC’.

The rapper, born Ametepe Tsikata, described Obrafour as the greatest Ghanaian rapper of all time, during a chat with MzGee on Joy News.

It’s an opinion many Ghanaians share with M.ani.

M.anifest was recently praised by the legendary rapper, and he said that was very high praise which he would cherish for the rest of his life.

“Obrafuor is the original, proper God MC, me I’m just stealing his title.” M.anifest said.

He added: “Obrafuor is the greatest rapper we have ever seen in Ghana. So, any compliment from him, I’m going to put it in a time capsule; a bottle and cherish it for life.

“One day I’ll show my grandchildren and say, ‘do you see what Obrafuor, the greatest Ghanaian rapper has ever said about me?’. I’m grateful. Much respect.”

Aside effusively praising each other, the pair have actually worked together on a project – the critically acclaimed ‘No Shortcut to Heaven’.
