The Donald Trump’s administration’s crackdown on illegal immigrants in the United States continues unabated–as about 78 Ghanaians, forming the second batch of Ghanaian lined up to be deported have arrived at the Kotoka International Airport.
According to reports, most of the deportees who arrived on Wednesday were handcuffed.

Officers of the National Disaster Management Organisation (Nadmo), the Ghana Immigration Service and the Ghana Police Service were on stand-by to assist the deportees go through screening.
Onua FM‘s reporter said out of the deported aboard the flight bearing an American flag, only three had been successfully screened and cleared to leave after an hour since arrival.
Most of them had no belongings and are finding it difficult to reach their relatives in Ghana, Kweku Antwi-Otoo reported. The three said their colleagues are finding it difficult with immigration officers as some have no records, and what is more, cannot bear the embarrassment.
US Ambassador to Ghana, Robert P. Jackson said a few weeks ago that about 7, 000 Ghanaians in the US illegally will be deported by the Trump administration.
