The Black Stars of Ghana got off to an impressive start under new coach James Kwesi Appiah with an emphatic 5-0 win over the Ethiopian national team.

Another debutant, Ebenezer Ofori, scored a 30 yard screamer to close the first half 3-0 for Ghana.

Dwamena put his name on the scoresheet immediately after half time, tapping in after the Ethiopian goalie dropped a Dede Ayew stinging shot.

The 22 year old, making his first senior start for the team, completed his brace later on to complete the 5-0 rout for the team.

In Appiah’s first game in charge, the young, exciting team he assembled put on a football clinic – to the appreciation of the capacity Kumasi crowd.
