Saudi Arabia Football Team Refuses To Honour Moment Of Silence For London Terror Attack Victims

The male football team of Saudi Arabia refused to help honour a minute of silence for the Australian victims of the recent London terror attacks, sparking controversy.

The team were scheduled to play Australia in a World Cup qualifier, before which a minute of silence was scheduled.

However, whilst the stadium and the Australian team observed the minute, the Saudi players did not, going about their own activities during the minute of silence.

The game itself ended 3-2 in favour of Australia.

The London terror attacks were linked to radical Islamic terrorists, although if that played any role in Saudi Arabia’s decision not to observe the moment is currently not known.
