Actor John Dumelo has paid a visit to the family of the late Army major, Maxwell Mahama, to pay his condolences over the passing of the late officer.
Dumelo, who has been as heartbroken over the incident as any Ghanaian, described the late officer as ‘Ghana’s hero’.
He also signed the book of condolences dedicated to the lynched officer.

Captain Mahama was lynched by residents of Denkyira-Obuasi in the Central Region last week Monday, allegedly after being mistaken for an armed robber. Another account says he was targeted by the galamsey loving residents of the town for being head of the anti galamsey taskforce.
After his death, Mahama was posthumously promoted to major by the President, a move which Dumelo has praised.
