Women are naturally loving and tender at heart, but the same can not be said for Felicia Sarbah, Perpetual Owusu, Yaa Asor, Efia Manu, Vivian Asaahene and Anna Gyimah, six of the 34 suspects who are alleged to have taken part in the lynching and murder of Captain Maxwell Mahama. One of the six women is said to be a nursing mother.
They were arraigned before an Accra Central Magistrate court presided over by Ebenezer Kweku Ansah,and charged with conspiracy to commit murder.
They have been remanded into police custody to reappear on June 21, 2017 after the prosecuting officer, DSP George Amegah, had prayed the court for more time to enable the police to conduct further investigations into the case.
Seven other people including the assemblyman for Denkyira-Obuasi had earlier been remanded by a district court in the Central Regional capital, Cape Coast.
In all a total of 41 people have been arrested and put before court in connection with the murder of the army captain who is to be buried this Friday.
