Captain Maxwell Mahama would be buried on June 9, his family has announced.
According to the family, three funerals would be held for the slain soldier, before he’s finally placed to rest on Friday.
Family spokespersons Zakaria Sakara and WOII Ibrahim Samed made the announcement during the courtesy call paid on the family by the Speaker of Parliament, leading a parliamentary delegation.
The three funerals would be held in Accra, his paternal grandmother’s hometown of Bole, and his paternal grandfather’s hometown of Tumu.
The family announced the plans would be fully firmed at another meeting, and then submitted to the Military High Command for approval.
