Founder and leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministries, Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah, has called for the NDC to desist from blaming the death of Capt. Maxwell Mahama on Nana Akufo-Addo.
Speaking on Okay Fm, Owusu Bempah, a staunch supporter of Nana Addo, said the NDC’s actions equate to politicizing the painful death of the soldier.
“I have heard some of the politicians blaming the President for the death of the Captain…I do not understand why people will call for the resignation of the President, he has no hand in this and besides this is not something we should politicize…,” Owusu Bempah said.
The preacher, who is closely affiliated to the President, also said the recent spate of violence around the country is not ‘normal’ – and requires all Christians to get to their knees in prayer.
“What is happening in Ghana in recent times is not normal…the gruesome deaths are becoming too much, so we ought to pray, all Christians must pray…,” he added.
