Kwame Sefa Kayi has laid into the General Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, for his politicisation of the death of soldier Capt. Maxwell Mahama.
Commenting on General Mosquito’s comments – which claimed that the murder of Mahama was carried out “under the direct supervision of President Akufo-Addo” – Sefa Kayi called them ‘shameful’ and ‘irresponsible’.
According to the ace broadcaster, he could not believe that Asiedu Nketia would stoop so low as to play partisan politics with such a raw, painful topic.
He further wondered if Mosquito would have done the same if it was his child who was involved in such a painful death.
Sefa Kayi’s comments join a similar call by former President Mahama, who called for politics to be left out of the conversation over the late soldier’s death when he visited his family earlier today.
