The Veep posted about the visit on his official Facebook page:
“On behalf of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the people of Ghana, I visited the family of the late Captain Maxwell Adam Mahama at Burma Camp this afternoon, to express our shock and heartfelt sorrow at his unfortunate demise.
I assured the family that the full might of the State will be brought to bear in identifying the perpetrators of this heinous crime, and the matter will be pursued to its logical conclusion.
May God temper their hurt and grant them the Grace to go through these trying times.”
