Comedian Kwaku Sinim-Misa (KSM) says Ghanaians as a people have lost our collective humanity.
According to the veteran satirist, he noticed this disease a few years ago, when the disappearance of Castro at sea was used as a joke to spread memes on social media.
Years later, KSM says the lynching of Capt. Mahama has regrettably proved him right.
He wrote on Facebook:
WHEN HUMAN BEINGS LOOSE THEIR HUMANITY
People made jokes about Castro’s death. All over social media, they were cartoons of him as a FISH. Some actually thought this tragedy was funny.
I said on my show then, that the disgusting and callous behavior is a RED FLAG that we are loosing our humanity as a nation. Its sad to say, I was right.
My condolence to the family of Captain Mahama. ? a VICTIM OF SOCIETY SUFFERING FROM A LOSS OF HUMANITY.
RIP Captain.
As new reports filter in that a man suspected of stealing a mobile phone was beaten to death in Kumasi today, how can the case be made that KSM is wrong?
