Former President John Dramani Mahama visited the family of the late Capt. Maxwell Mahama today (Thursday) to extend his condolences.
The former leader of the country’s visit comes after he expressed his condolences via social media following Mahama’s death.
Speaking to the family, he called for the incident to be treated as a ‘national tragedy’ and not be used to score cheap political points.
On that score, he might want to talk to his own party – who released this abhorrent statement Wednesday saying the President is directly to blame for Mahama’s death.
The President, in his remarks, also called for Ghanaians to resort to the proper channels to seek justice when wronged, instead of engaging in mob justice.
