57 Year Old Ghanaian Dies Of Cold Trying To Escape Trump’s America For Canada

A 57 year old Ghanaian woman has died of hypothermia near the US-Canada border.

Mavis Korkor Larnyoh Otuteye was found dead near Noyes, in the US state of Minnesota. Noyes is the closest American township to the Canadian border town of Emerson, Manitoba.

Korkor is believed to have been an illegal immigrant in the US who was afraid of backlash under the new immigration policies of the Trump administration, and thus tried to escape into Canada.

Unfortunately, the cold caught her.

“It is believed that Mavis was attempting to enter Canada at the time of her death,” Kittson County Sheriff’s Department wrote in a statement addressing the issue.

Mavis was reported missing on May 25, until her body was found a few days later.

Illegal immigration along the US-Canada border has shot up in recent times, since Donald Trump annexed the White House.
