Kwesi Kyei Darkwa (KKD), has opened up once again on the rape saga of a few years ago, insisting that he was set up.

The ace broadcaster and avid fashionista said people who wanted to malign his reputation cooked up the allegation of rape against him, even though to this day the girl herself involved has not said she was raped.

KKD spoke to TV3 about the 2015 incident, when he was accused of raping a then 19 year old girl Ewurama Effe.

KKD told TV3 that ‘the people who wanted to lie have told their lies’, but he was moving on, living his life ‘in beauty and dignity’.
