Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo, has advised his fellow countrymen to move away from the mentality of thinking prayer and fasting can be a substitute for problem solving.
Osinbajo, in a series of tweets, made it clear that the mindset of depending on religion to solve the nation’s problems has to be set aside for true progress to be made.
“Great economies and great nations, prosperity and abundance of nations and communities are created by men and not spirits.” Osinbajo said.
“No matter how much you pray and fast, our country cannot grow without some of us deciding to do the hard work that makes nations work.”
Someone should inform the average Ghanaian of this simple fact.
Great economies and great nations, prosperity and abundance of nations and communities are created by men and not spirits.
