The man John Dumelo described as the ‘grad hawker’, Godfred Boateng Obeng, has expressed his total admiration for ‘dancehall king’ Shatta Wale.
According to the founder/owner of the A1 bakery in Kumasi, Shatta Wale has managed to succeed despite facing enormous challenges and that is admirable and something he hopes to emulate.
“I admire Shatta Wale a lot because he has defiled all odds to make it.” he said on Metro Tv’s Business edition.

“There are no stereotyping in the world. You can’t say this is the only way to do something. It doesn’t work for everybody like that,” he added, arguing for why everyone must choose their own path to success.
Obeng rose to fame after Dumelo posted a photo of him hawking bread in traffic and wondered where it went wrong for the ‘grad hawker’. Whilst Dumelo’s post was not flattering, it has rather given Obeng more attention than he can use and he says he’s completely forgiven John.
