The former moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rev Emmanuel Martey, has turned his fire on the NPP, arguing some of the President’s appointees are corrupt.
Rev Martey, speaking to reporters in Accra, made the controversial remarks.
The former moderator sparked a furore during last year’s election campaign period when he alleged that officials of the NDC had tried bribing him.
Seems his NPP honeymoon period is over and he’s now turned his ire on them.
“NPP also has bad elements…even some of their appointees are not correct…they are corrupt”. Martey is reported to have said.
When asked to substantiate his claim, Rev Martey simply replied.
“Blessed are those who do not see but believe” he said, quoting John 20:29.
