The late Christopher Opoku goes home in July as his family has set the date for his final funeral rites.
The ace broadcaster passed away earlier this month after losing a protracted battle with cancer of the rectum.
Opoku’s death, untimely as it was, shocked the nation.
Final funeral rites have been scheduled for July 15-16 in Kumasi.
Pre burial rites would be held at his father’s residence in Ahinsan Estate July 15th. Burial would then take place at his hometown of Asante-Akyem Domeabra later that day, with a thanksgiving service on July 16th.
Opoku worked for among others, Metro Tv and Gtv during his career, and was the founder of the football website footyghana.
