Black Stars manager Kwesi Appiah has named a formidable backroom staff to help him as he makes a return as manager of the senior national team.
Appiah has named a string of former internationals to key positions within the team, starting a new phase for the Stars.
Of the team’s former backroom staff, only two remain; Video analyst Michael Okyere and equipment officer Ismail Hamidu.
Every other position has been changed, with former internationals named to take the key positions. Stephen Appiah is the new team manager, taking over from long serving Nii Sabahn Quaye. Richard ‘Olele’ Kingson is the new goalkeepers trainer, also taking over from veteran Nasam Yakubu.
