Tickets for the much talked about Jade Osiberu’s debut Nollywood movie-ISOKEN which will premiere at Cineworld London Leicester Square are out–and you need to book yours NOW as limited tickets are selling.
The premiere will take place on Wednesday 24th May 2016 at 7pm and you can book your ticketS via Cineworld website—CLICK HERE to BOOK.
Cast and crew from Ghana and Nigeria will attend the premiere to grace the red-carpet and be present for a post-showing Q&A session.
After the premiere, the film will be released in 12 major cinemas across the UK from 26th May 2017, aimed at bringing the captivating movie to UK’s huge African movie audience
ISOKEN tells a story of self-discovery of a single and successful 34-year-old woman. It’s a coming-of-age romantic dramedy that explores culture expectations, racial stereotypes and the bonds that unite families touching, dramatic and comedic ways.
The film features a collection of talents from both Ghana and Nigeria, including; Dakore Akande, Funke Akindele, Joseph Benjamin, Marc Rhys, Lydia Forson, Damilola Attoh, Tina Mba, Patrick Doyle, Nedu, Bolanle, Olukanni and Rita Edwards.
Written, Directed and Produced by Jadesola Osiberu of Tribe85 Productions, ISOKEN dwells within the borders of contemporary Nollywood storytelling—which is largely marked by its growing appeal to both local and international audience on the back of intriguing stories, superlative production and brilliant acting.
The film was financed by the Bank of Industry and it’s proudly sponsored by Amstel Malta, makers of low sugar premium malt drink.
And it’s being distributed by a UK-based film distribution company Evrit Film, which specializes in film distribution to all major cinema chains across the UK and Europe.
