A woman who was married to a billionaire has cleaned out in a divorce settlement, after a judge ordered she be paid £453m ($584m)

The settlement, which occurred in a UK court, has been billed as one of the biggest divorce payouts of all time.

The ruling also ordered the identities of the two – the woman, from Eastern Europe and her Russian billionaire husband – be kept secret.

During their marriage, the woman had been a housewife and had raised the couple’s children. The man argued in court that he had made a ‘special contribution’ to the generation of the wealth, but the judge disagreed.

His ruling gave the woman 41.5% of the total marital assets – totalling the insane £453m figure.
