Ghana’s rap sofor has named the top five rappers in the country currently and it’s quite an impressive list.
As we all know, Obrafour is one of the greatest musicians, not to talk of rappers, of all time in Ghana so his opinion on this is certainly very much relevant.
The biggest beef of 2016 once again reared its head in Obrafour’s choices, but this time, Sarkodie emerged on top.
“I have many [favourites] but everyone knows I am bias when it comes to Sarkodie. So I will put him [up] there. Manifest is wonderful and deep. I think he’s been underrated but seriously Manifest is good. I will take Okyeame Kwame for the third then Kofi Kinaata and TeePhlow come in next…” Obrafour listed his top five MC’s in the country during an interview on Hitz Fm.

Obrafour, who just dropped the music video to his gospel track ‘Aseda’, also rubbished claims he’s leaving secular music for gospel.
I have not swayed from the secular music. Where did you hear that from?” he asked KMJ.
“I don’t think I have made a straight jacketed statement like that. I am not moving my position I am still where I am. Note that Obrafour hasn’t stopped hip-life. I am still a fan…” he stated.
