Sulley Muntari has been a topic after Cagliari Calcio fans subjected him to racial abuse chants when Sulley was playing for his team Pescara Calcio against and that caused the midfielder to infamously walk off from the pitch before the match ended.
Sulley’s conduct against the abuse gained media traction particularly when the Italian Football Federation, FIGC, issued a ban on Muntari claiming that other black players suffered similar abuse but didn’t walk off the pitch and added that even the crowd that was engaged in the nuisance was too small to warrant Sulley’s walk-off protest.
