NDC supporter Mzbel seems very pleased after Ghana was plunged into darkness late on Wednesday.
Dumsor was a hot button campaign issue, and one of the myriad of challenges the NPP promised to fix when they get into office.
So far, not so good.
As GRIDco announced earlier today, the blackout affected 80% of the country and occurred due to a short in their transmission lines which could have been caused by lighting.
The dumsor was a bad omen for most Ghanaians but not Mzbel, who could not contain her excitement at the blackouts.
She posted a couple of posts on Facebook subtly mocking the NPP over the outbreak.

She wrote in one post: “Chai finally there is light! Thank you ooo! Kukrudumsor…. we will be very very grateful when the tap also start flowing ooo no disrespect wai, God BRESS our homeland Ghana and make our nation great and SMALL ?”
Not long after she posted another:
“We all complained about Dumsor so why is it now a big deal to complain about Kukrudumsor? Abeg abi citizen not spectator! Everything is not about politics!!! Smh”
Mzbel really suffered at the hands of NPP supporters after the NDC lost, so it’s probably to be expected that she would take any chance she get to hit back at the ruling party.
