Dancehall star Stonebwoy, who has been locked in an eternal battle with his rival Shatta Wale over who runs the genre in Ghana, has another feather in his cap with an upcoming Gambian gig.

Stonebwoy has been tapped to appear at a concert at Gambia’s Independence Stadium in Bakau, scheduled for the 13th of May.

The Ghanaian star, born Livingstone Etse Satekla, would share the stage alongside legendary dancehall act Mavado.

Aside Stonebwoy and Mavado, other artists appearing on the night including Shifta, Rockey Jeezy, Acamus and Deft.

Stonebwoy has been making some international waves in recent weeks, including a collaboration with Vanessa Bling.
