Editor in chief of the New Crusading Guide newspaper, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako Jr., has predicted that the case of visa fraud being levelled against MP’s is far from over.

According to the veteran journalist, there are more examples of MP’s committing the same sort of abuses attributed to the four named by Jon Benjamin, and he believes those would be exposed as time goes by.

Kweku Baako was speaking on Newsfile when he made the prediction.

“What has been reported or made public is a tip of an iceberg”, he said.

“I am clear in my mind there was abuse of privileges…..I am clear in my mind there were also instances of misrepresentation.  Someone says this is my wife and it turns out to be his cousin”,

Kweku Baako said MP’s should stop the attacks on the UK High Commissioner, and instead take measures to clean their tainted image. Parliament was earlier this year hit by a bribery scandal.

“It brings the image of parliament into disrepute and persons involved are liable for some examination and possible sanctions. The matter must be referred to the privileges committee of parliament. The speaker promised to take action and that is commendable” he added.
