Euro Star CEO-Oscar Doe ‘Insults’ British High Commissioner to Ghana-Jon Benjamin Over MP Visa Fraud Saga–Says He’s Full of Nonsense

Oscar Doe

Oscar Doe, said to be a Ghanaian millionaire describes himself as “President & Exe.Chairman of Eurostarlimousine” on his Instagram.

He’s the man behind the unworthy rewarding of Ghanaian Celebrities for red carpet best dressed–which many say just breeds unnecessary rivalry and encourage the superficial culture of red carpet “SLAYING.”

Doe has taken to Instagram to literally insult British High Commissioner to Ghana-Jon Benjamin: because Jon Benjamin and the UK outfit have exposed 4 Ghanaian MPs for what is obviously a visa fraud.

He wrote: “Our MP’S Deserves Respect! Ghana News Media Please Do Not Encourage This Nonsense From the British High Commissioner to Ghana! What’s Wrong When An MP Apply Visa For His Family Members? There is No Case of Fraud Here Not There! Did The British High Commission Notified The MPS About the Overstayed Situation of Their Family Members Before Going Public? In Ghana Every Member of Parliament Takes Their Constituency Members As A Family and We Are All Very Proud of That Culture. It’s About Time Ghanaians Stand Firm to Fight The Numerous Nonsense Going On From Some of Our Development Partners. This Kind of Disrespect to Our Honourable Men of Parliament Is Unacceptable. PLEASE GHANA MEDIA PLEASE IGNORE THIS NONSENSE.”

Earlier today, the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Mr. Joseph Osei Owusu also slammed the UK High Commissioner over his decision to expose four Ghanaian MPs for alleged visa fraud.

These slammings are shocking–because you would expect every right thinking person to back the actions of Jon Benjamin, which would help weed out the few bad nuts giving the majority of Ghanaians, especially politicians a bad name.

As we reported yesterday, three sitting MP’s and one former lawmaker have been cited by British authorities for being involved in cases of visa fraud.

The MP’s are alleged to have used their diplomatic statuses to acquire visas for people who entered the UK and never returned upon the expiration of their visas.

The allegations are contained in a letter written by the British High Commissioner to Ghana, Jon Benjamin, and addressed to Speaker of Parliament Mike Ocquaye, outlining the concerns of the British government.

The MP’s alleged to have engaged in the fraudulent acts are – Richard Acheampong, MP for Bia East in the Western Region, Joseph Benhazin Dahah, MP for Asutifi North in the Bono Ahafo region, Johnson Kwaku Adu, MP for Ahafo Ano South West, in the Ashanti Region and George Boakye, former MP for Asunafo South in the Bono Ahafo region.
