Hello Christopher,
I can see you are selling your wife’s beautiful wedding gown and it brought a lot of tears to my eyes.
I had to gather courage to send this message as I need a new mind to help me establish what’s going on.
If it was not because of my current situation, I would have definitely bought your wife’s dress. I love its simplicity and how beautifully she wore it.
But my situation is one that I cannot understand, let alone continue to shop for my wedding.
I have been dating a nice Ghanaian guy in his late 30s for almost 6 years now. He has two children from his previous marriage though he never married the mother of the children.
In January, he proposed and we set our wedding for June. We started buying the kente and some of the things we will need. He said he had invested his money in this scheme with his bank so I used almost all my savings to buy the stuff we decided we will need for the engagement.
I even bought his footwear and material to sew is attire.
About two months ago, he told me he would like to finish his course at Gimpa which will take two years before the wedding.
I asked him why the sudden change of plans and he said why am I in a haste to get married. That he wants to finish his education before marrying else his family will think he is not being sensible.
In fact, I should have seen this coming as he didn’t seem much interested when it got to us buying the things. My mother says I should pray about it and that the devil may be at work. I know you don’t believe in the devil and stuff but what else explains this?
Ask your followers for me if anyone can figure out what must have happened or what I should do.
For now, I don’t even know if he still loves me or if we are in a relationship as I hardly see him. He claims the course has suddenly become stressful and intensive.
