Yvonne Okoro’s award-winning movie ‘Ghana Must Go’ opened in selected UK cinemas last night, April 21–and the “turnout has been exceptionally great,” Evrit Films, the distribution outlet which brought the movie to the UK has told GhanaCelebrities.Com.
With the movie showing throughout the weekend and even beyond in some of the cinemas, it’s excepted to pull in more people and make a box office impact.
Ghana Must Go’ is full of laughter–it revolves around two families, one Ghanaian and one Nigerian coming together. The story is about a London-based Ghanaian girl who brings her Nigerian fiancé home to introduce him to her parents, resulting in all hell being let loose.
The film has been brought to the UK by Evrit Films, a film distribution company based in the UK, which aims to bring African’s rich culture and entertainment through films to UK cinema audiences.
The film which stars actress-Yvonne Okoro, Blossom Chukwujeku, Nkem Owoh, Kofi Adjorlolo and others is showing at the following cinemas:
