Ibrahim Mahama Granted Bail By EOCO

Former President Mahama’s brother, Ibrahim Mahama, has been granted bail by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) after being picked up for interrogation Tuesday.

Ibrahim was invited by the anti graft office to answer questions over some dud cheques he had issued to the state to clear some goods.

Whilst at EOCO, Ibrahim was asked to deposit his passport today (Wednesday). Officials later granted him bail, to reappear at a later date.

Ibrahim, who’s Chief Executive for Engineers and Planners, is alleged to have issued some dud cheques to the customs division of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) at the Tema Port to clear some heavy duty equipment he imported.
