The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, and his sweetheart, the first lady of the Republic, Rebecca Akufo-Addo, marked 20 years of marriage last week.

A beautiful ceremony attended by many dignitaries was held to mark the significant milestone in the lives of our current first family.

The second couple and the NPP’s first Fourth Republican President, John Agyekum Kuffour, were in attendance, as well as many other dignitaries.

Highlights of the night included the first couple having a dance, as well as Akufo-Addo serving his guests at a point. The night also saw some appearances from NPP leaning artists including Daddy Lumba, Amakye Dede, Kwabena Kwabena and others.

Akufo-Addo has been having a great 2017 so far – after finally achieving his dream to lead the land, he also celebrated his 73rd birthday a few weeks ago, for which a beautiful ceremony was held.
