Woman Dies As Anointing Oil Being Used By Pastor To Heal Her Catches Fire And Burns Her

The quest for that special spiritual healing has cost a 67 year old woman her life as a bizarre accident left her on fire instead of healed.

Yaa Donkor, 67, of Nwesno Number One in Kumasi, reported her waist pains to a well renowned pastor in the area for healing, not knowing her demise was going to be the result of that decision.

According to myjoyonline, Yaa Donkor visited Pastor Isaac Wiredu, head pastor of the Bethel church in the vicinity, to complain about waist pains. Wiredu is known in the area for being quite adept at the healing business.

However, something went horribly wrong during the process. Having rubbed some anointing oil on Donkor to facilitate her healing, the oil unexpectedly caught fire and burnt the entire upper portion of her body.

The pastor and one other relative who was around at the time, rushed the victim to hospital, but she died of her burns three days later.

The pastor, when he heard of the death of the lady, reportedly went into hiding, but later turned himself in when his relative was arrested.

Police are still investigating the incident, which continues to baffle everyone. Undoubtedly some would be applying spiritual meanings to it at this very moment.
