Black Avenue Muzik boss Desmond Blackmore, trade name D-Black, has hinted he might be making a new addition to his label soon.
D-Black, in a post on Facebook, which might or might not be a joke, hinted Okyeame Kwame’s young son Sir might be the next to join the label.Sir debuted his rap career in his father’s recent single, ‘Saucing’, with a performance that earned him some plaudits afterwards. With D-Black being the normal punchline to rap jokes in Ghana, some claimed the kid is already a better rapper than Blackmore.
So perhaps in the spirit of the joke, D-Black uploaded a photo of himself with Sir, adding the caption: “Guess who about to sign this kid ? ???”
Whether he’s joking or not, Ghanaians are coming for D-Black.
