Jackie Chan Creates Animated Children’s Series To Teach Chinese Morality And Culture

Multiple award winning actor Jackie Chan has announced the creation of a 3-D, animated children’s series to air in his native country.

The series, titled ‘J-Team’, is aimed at educating children about Chinese morality and culture, two topics the actor cares very much about.

Variety reports…

Storylines include Chinese etiquette, traditional virtues, learning good habits and discipline when growing up.

“These are said to mirror Chan’s own habits. Chan himself appears at the end of each episode with encouragement and tips.

“The show was made after research among primary school pupils in seven major Chinese cities, to identify preferences in terms of cartoon imagery, characters, background and plots.”

The series has so far been picked up by at least three satellite tv channels in the country and over 200 terrestrial ones.
