Ayigbe Divas (Feli Nuna & MzVee) Clash Over Who To Be Called “Daavi” In The Music Industry

Two Ewe girls who are musicians, one, a well established Artiste and the other a fast Up Coming Act, MzVee and Feli Nuna respectively have come to a cross road as to who should be called “Daavi” in the showbiz industry. Feli Nuna represented Ghana at 2016’s Coke Studio Africa whilst MzVee was at the 2016 BETs as a nominee for the African Act category.

Feli Nuna, who has been bearing the nick name “Daavi Diva” for sometime now registered her sentiment that she is the original “Daavi” meaning any other one is fake and this comes days after MzVee released her latest song with its music video titled “Daavi”.

MzVee told Amanda Jissih during the TV premier of the video that “Daavi” is to celebrate who she is as an Ewe girl who has come this far.

What ever be the case, Feli Nuna strongly agitates that so far as she has be known in the industry as “Daavi” she doesn’t see it accurate for any other “Daavi” to emerge. She told Abeiku Santana yesterday on Okay Fm that “it’s like we have Sarkodie and another person comes up with the name Sarkodie too”. According to Feli Nuna she has no bad blood with MzVee but she is happy she is not only influencing her fans but other Artistes.

At the just ended VGMAs, MzVee was Artiste Of The Year nominee and Feli Nuna was in the Best New Artiste Of The Year category.

See Feli Nuna’s series of Tweets, which will likely ignite a ‘Daavi beef’ should MzVee say “fi” but we know MzVee won’t as she once said “female acts trying to beef pisses me off”.

So we ask, what is the meaning of “Daavi” that only Feli Nuna wants to be recognized as such
OR is MzVee actually attempting to steal Feli Nuna’s “Daavi” shine???
